Ah let him celebrate. It's the first time the Wave has wiped out Gate City in quite some time I'm sure.
Deja Moo: The feeling that you've heard this bull before.
that's when you know where your program is...when you celebrate that you beat someone, but there wouldnt be a single celebration if they beat you

youre exactly right, its like when vt beats miami and they bring out the ticker tape parades but when miami beats vt, its just another day at the office.
of course a ticker tape parade may be thrown in both towns this year, vt for a win over miami, miami for a win against a decent team.
Congratulations anyway burrhead, I was just messing with you man.
I don't think I agree with you. (giving an opinion back to a comment)
Here's why (providing reasons)
1) GC's crowd always fills up the field, home/away after a win, therefore they always celebrate wins--I know this because I've been nearly trampled before and if you was at this game, you seen a fair number of Gate City fans lined up at the entrance to Clintwoods field late ready to charge the field. Now I'm not saying that they were going to tear the goal posts down or anything, just that they are a very good celebrating team.
2) Clintwood fans have a hard time getting too excited, becuase well recent history. We've been a good team, its not like we're coming out of 5 years of 1 win or something, struggling to find a way to compete and such, we're been many times (In my Opinion and Others) one of the top 4 teams, just not been able due to points and schedule and such make the playoffs. I've seen teams, good teams who can beat most everybody else but struggle with one team or such and when they finally beat that one team, of course they celebrate.
and of course 3)Clintwood, is the underdog. When you are the underdog and you win, you do tend to celebrate more. When you're the favorite and you win, its more expected.
We played PV, and they won, in a close game like this. They had plenty of people storming the field screaming and yelling. Now unless I'm mistaken, I guess their program is at a pretty good level.
Of course then there is the other idea. You have said before you don't give a *censored* about Gate City, maybe you have forgotten the excitement that some get out of high school sports.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
The fans seemed pretty excited in their win against us a couple of years ago when we were up 3-0 at the half and they won like 10-3, or 13-3. It was the CW people extending the congrats on here then.
"There he goes, one of Gods own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die"
True. In close games, people tend to get excited. Hard to get much of a rush of people on the field or that emotional when the game is over at half time.
